Biography

At Missouri State: In her senior season, Amy Dueck had limited playing time due to off-season injury. As a junior, she started in 17 of the 19 matches she played in, as one of four returning starters for the Bears. Dueck played in 19 games with 14 starts in 2004. She helped the Bears post a shutout over Kent State on Sept. 30.

Background: Dueck came to Missouri State after one year at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, where she played as a libero on the volleyball team. During her prep career, she helped the Richmond Snipes field hockey club team to three provincial championships. She was also a four-year starter on the Hugh Boyd Secondary School volleyball team.

Personal: Dueck was born on Aug. 25, 1984, in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is the daughter of Warren and Kayleen Dueck.
