At Missouri State: Katie Mulloy looks to build on last season and add depth to the throws group.

2011 Track:

Indoor: Did not compete for the Bears during the indoor season.

Outdoor: Had three personal bests at the Arkansas Spring Invitational, taking home fourth in the hammer throw (122-08.44), eighth in the shot put (37-08.56) and ninth in the discus throw (102-00.80).

Background: Mulloy was named all-sectional and all-conference in both the shot put and discus as a senior and junior....Set the school record in shot put....Named to the all-state team her senior season....Finished eighth in shot put at the state outdoor meet and second in the indoor meet....Was also a state qualifier in the shot put as a junior....Plays field hockey for head coach Dawn Callahan[apos]s Bears....Named Field Hockey Goalie of the Year for the State of Illinois....Also played basketball in high school.

Personal: Kaitlyn Marie Mulloy was born May 28, 1992, in Highland Park, Ill.....Daughter of Peter and Renee Mulloy....Has three siblings, Kavan and twins Michael and Meghan, who both play soccer at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa....Her mother played field hockey at Michigan State University....Majoring in journalism and media communication.
