2019-20 Season (Senior)
Received All-MAC first team recognition…Secured silver medal in the 200 back and helped team to pair of gold medals and runner-up title in the 800 free, 400 medley, and 400 free relay races at MAC Championships (March 4-7)…Opened season with best MSU finish in the 100 back at the Show-Me Showdown (October 4)…Placed second in 100 back and 200 free relay versus Missouri (November 2)…Swam a leg in first-place effort in 400 free relay, took second in 200 back versus SIU (November 9)…Finished third in 200 back versus Drury (December 14)…Helped squad to 200 free relay win in home finale versus Evansville (January 11).
2018-19 Season (Junior)
Earned a gold medal in an individual and team event at the MAC Championships, topping the competition in the 200 backstroke and helping the Bears take the 400 medley relay (March 4-7)…Awarded championship silver medals in the 100 backstroke and 400 freestyle relay…Took first in 100 backstroke in “Dual in the Pool” meeting at Drury (Jan. 17)…Posted a third place finish in the 200 backstroke at Missouri (Jan. 19).
2017-18 Season (Sophomore)
Was the top finisher for the Bears in the 100 back, finishing third overall at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (Sept. 29) … Won the 200 back and 400 medley relay against Southern Illinois (Oct. 7) and was a member of the second-place 400 free relay … Won the 100 fly, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay and earned top-three finishes in the 100 back and 200 fly against South Dakota (Oct. 20-21) … Finished second in the 100 back against Evansville on Dec. 1 … Was the top finisher and finished second in the 100 back at Drury (Jan. 18) … Took fourth in the 200 fly and fifth in the 200 back against Missouri (Jan. 20) … Took third in the 400 medley relay at the Shamrock Invitational (Jan. 26-27) … Set career bests (6) in the 50 free, 100 free 100 back, 200 back, 100 breast and 200 fly.
2016-17 Season (Freshman)
Helped the Bears to a second-place finish in the 400 medley relay at the 2017 MAC Championships … Touched the wall sixth in the 100 back, setting a personal record with a time of 48.85 … Finished third in the 200 back B-Final and second in the 200 fly B-Final … Earned a top-10 finish in the 100 back at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (10/7) … Against North Dakota, touched the wall in 1:55.03 for a second-place finish in the 200 fly … Earned his first collegiate victory in the 200 back with a time of 1:53.06 against Drury on Oct. 29 and also picked up a fifth-place finish in the 50 free (22.34) … Took top-eight finishes in both the 200 fly and 200 back against Iowa and Purdue (11/4) … Won the 100 fly consolation finals and set a personal record at the House of Champions Invitational (11/18) with a time of 49.86 … Finished third overall in the 200 back (1:49.05) and the 200 fly (1:50.90), setting personal records in both events … Aided the men’s 200 free relay in the squad’s first-place finish at Evansville on Dec. 2 … Tied for second with teammate Kevin Douglas in the 200 back, finishing the race in 1:53.44 … Earned a third-place finish in the 200 fly (1:54.26).
