SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State University announced today a new campus-wide ticketing and marketing technology partnership with industry leader Paciolan beginning in early summer. Through the collaboration, Paciolan's digital ticketing platform will provide fans and patrons of Bears Athletics and all other on-campus events held at Great Southern Bank Arena, Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts, John Goodman Amphitheatre and Coger Theatre an enhanced customer experience from purchase to event entry.
"This partnership with Paciolan is a game changer for how we engage our fans and serve our campus," said
Kelsey Tolbert, Missouri State Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations. "We're building a smarter, more connected experience, from purchase to entry, while using better data to deliver more personalized, relevant communication. This is a foundational step in elevating Missouri State Athletics and our campus events into a modern, fan-first era."
Through Paciolan's best-in-class digital ticketing technology, fans and patrons have the ability to purchase tickets, receive them instantly via text, and scan or easily transfer or exchange tickets with family and friends directly from their mobile device, creating a streamlined process from purchase to the day of their event. Additionally, Paciolan delivers hosted merchant services for ticket buyers, unlocking new payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay while also providing fraud and chargeback prevention services.
Beyond primary ticketing, Paciolan integrates directly with secondary ticketing platform provider SeatGeek, giving ticket holders an easy way to sell tickets for events they are unable to attend through SeatGeek's highly-rated mobile experience while feeding invaluable fan and ticketing data back to Missouri State Athletics.
Additionally, the Bears will leverage Paciolan's marketing automation tools to create and distribute automated and engaging marketing emails to targeted audiences, alerting them of upcoming events and offers. Missouri State will also tap into Paciolan's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to establish integrated data feeds, gain deeper insights into fan behavior, and develop personalized engagement programs based on individual interests, affinities, and past transactions.
"We're proud to partner with Missouri State to deliver the latest in digital ticketing and marketing automation technology to Bears fans and patrons of on-campus performing arts events," said Brendan Lynch, President of Paciolan. "We're confident the Paciolan platform will enhance every step of the fan journey and allow MSU to more efficiently manage their customer profiles and elevate their engagement with new and existing fans."
The Paciolan platform integrates seamlessly into the official website of Missouri State Athletics, MissouriStateBears.com, which will continue to provide secure, convenient, and easily accessible links to purchase tickets. MissouriStateBears.com is powered by SIDEARM Sports, a division of Paciolan's parent company, Learfield.
