Quoting the Coach
"I told our team last week it was going to come down to doubles, and that's exactly what happened. Losing 4–3 to Kansas City stings because we were right there. We had chances in doubles but got a little tight on some big points. I'm really proud of how we competed in singles and the fight we showed up and down the lineup. It was great to see Lucy play the way she did after being sick the past two weeks as well as Billie and Mati getting good wins. We've been putting a lot of time into cleaning up our doubles, and we're looking forward to getting to Saint Louis this weekend and building some momentum heading into conference play in March," stated head coach Austin Hale ahead of this week.
