MVC Swimming & Diving Weekly Honors (Jan. 21)

ST. LOUIS – Freshman Delaney Nickles received the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Diver of the Week award on Wednesday. This comes after her brilliant performance against Drury in the Bears spring schedule opener.

Nickles took out both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions in the home-and-home split with Drury. At Drury she took the victory in the 3-meter event with a score of 256.95. She then followed up with a victory in the 1-meter event at home the next day with a score of 264.75, which secured the dual victory for the Bears.

Missouri State swimming and diving will next compete against Illinois Chicago (UIC) in Chicago, Ill. on Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday Jan. 31 at the Flames Natatorium.
