  • The Lady Bears were picked to finish fourth in their first season as a member of Conference USA in the league's preseason poll. MoState slotted in behind Louisiana Tech, Liberty and MTSU. Little Rock transfer Faith Lee (Sr., Monroe, La.) was selected to the CUSA Preseason All-Conference Team.
  • Kaemyn Bekemeier (Jr., Republic, Mo.) was named Conference USA Player of the Week for the third time this season on Monday. She is the only repeat winner of the award so far this season. She averaged 28.5 points and 12.5 rebounds across a 2-0 week for MoState, including a career-best 31-point performance last Saturday against Jax State.
  • Bekemeier leads MoState this season with 18.6 ppg, 8.4 rpg and 28 three-pointers. She leads CUSA in total points (316) and defensive rebounds per game (7.1). The 5-9 guard has scored in double figures in a team-leading 16 of 17 games on the season, including 13 straight.
