- She was the head coach at Central Methodist for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, where the Eagles entered the 2025 season as the No. 3-ranked NAIA team.Â
- Wingbermuehle was the captain of the Oklahoma State cheer team and part of the 2021 NCA National Championship Team in the large coed division. She was also a member of Oklahoma State's STUNT team, earning Division I STUNT Athlete of the Year honors for a program that won seven straight national titles.
STUNT Bears
- The inaugural Bears STUNT team boasts a roster of 22 student-athletes with 14 coming from Missouri. The roster also includes players from Arkansas (1), Kansas (2), Illinois (2) Oklahoma (2) and Wisconsin (1).
- Missouri State is one of three new Division I members to sponsor STUNT in 2025 along with Northern Kentucky and Mercyhurst, which made the jump from DII this year.
- College STUNT is divided between Division I, II, III, NAIA and Club levels.
Scouting the Competition
- Missouri State will play a pair of preseason No. 1-ranked teams on its first day of official competition. The Bears will be welcomed into the world of STUNT by defending DII National Champion Oklahoma Baptist, which went 14-2 in 2024 en route to defeating Davenport, 16-15, in last year's title bout.Â
- MoState will end its first day against four-time defending DI champion California Baptist, which holds a perfect 83-0 record in its program's short but decorated history. The Lancers defeated Kentucky in last season's championship, 24-10. Cal Baptist is off to a 3-0 start this season with wins against Grand Canyon, Arizona State and Michigan State.Â
- On Saturday, the Bears will turn around to play against two teams ranked in the Club Division. They will open the day against No. 8-ranked Texas, which opens its fourth season as a club when it takes on Arizona State on Friday before Missouri State the following day.
- The STUNT Bears will conclude its first-ever tournament with a late-night game against No. 4-ranked Club Division Michigan State, which is also in its fourth season at the club level. The game between the Bears and Spartans at 7:45 p.m. will be the final of the tournament.
Mid-America West Conference
- Missouri State STUNT competes in the Mid-America West Conference, a Division I STUNT conference that consists of Central Arkansas, Kentucky, Mercyhurst, Missouri State, Northern Kentucky, Trevecca Nazarene and UT Martin.
- All seven MAWC teams will be seeded for the double-elimination Mid-America West Tournament starting on April 4-5 at the Historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky.Â
