Hansen and Heman Named to CUSA All-Academic Team

DALLAS, Texas – Missouri State women's soccer standouts Abby Hansen and Reilly Heman have been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, the league announced Wednesday. The honor recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, nominees must hold at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (GPA), be of sophomore standing or higher, and serve as a starter or key reserve for their team.

A Finance major with a 3.98 GPA, Hansen showcased her playmaking ability throughout the 2025 campaign, appearing in all 17 matches. The midfielder tallied three goals and led the team with five assists for a total of 11 points, ranking among the Bears' top offensive contributors. Hansen also recorded a .583 shots-on-goal percentage and netted a game-winner for Missouri State.

Heman, an Accounting major with a perfect 4.0 GPA, was an offensive force for the Bears, matching Hansen with 11 points on four goals and three assists. The junior forward started all 17 matches, finishing second on the team in both goals and total shots (35) while maintaining an efficient .457 shots-on-goal rate.

Up next, Missouri State will face Western Kentucky on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3:30 p.m. (CT) in Lynchburg, Va., for the Quarterfinals of the CUSA Championship Tournament.
