Cross-Checking the Bears

The Missouri State women's cross country team will set out for the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 15 at 11:00 a.m.
The Bears will be competing for a spot in the national meet hosted by Wisconsin on Nov. 23.
Bradley will play host for this year's regional. Missouri State has already made the trip to Peoria once this year for the Bradley Pink Classic. The regional will be held at a different site than the classic.
In 2023, the Bears placed 24^th at the regional out of 32 teams competing. Since Fife took over the program in 2014, the Bears have placed 20^th three times (2017, 2019, 2021).
Last time out, MoState competed in its final Missouri Valley Conference Championship meet. The Bears placed seventh in the 12 team meet.
Mary Margaret Harris was the first Bear across the line with a personal record of 21:06.5. Her time lands her fifth on the program all-time top-20 list. Tabitha Fox also lands on the list in ninth place with a time of 21:24.9.
