Final Results
BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- The Missouri State women's golf team treaded water Tuesday (Mar. 14) and finished the day where it started, in 13th place at the Jackrabbit Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Bears could manage only 319 in the final round and ended the tournament with a 920 total, well off the pace in their last outing before a two-week break in their spring schedule.
The bright spot for MSU was senior Abby Cavaiani's tie for 23rd place after carding 75-72-76--223. Junior Johanna Wollenhaupt was next for the Bears as she posted 75-79-77--231 and tied for 51st, while Kayla Pfitzner and Kiser Pannier followed close behind with 234 and 235 totals, respectively. Pfitzner shot rounds of 80-71-83, Pannier had 78-74-83. Senior Faith Belmear finished 76th in the field after carding rounds of 77-81-86--244.
Grand Canyon captured the team championship by seven strokes over Lipscomb, 864-871, while Western Carolina placed third with 884. Middle Tennessee and Little Rock rounded out the top five at 898.
The Bears will return to action at the ULM Invitational in Monroe, La., Apr. 3-4.
