SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State beach volleyball team is set to host "Guns Serving Hoses" a community engagement event on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Allison Beach Volleyball Courts.

Guns Serving Hoses is an exhibition beach volleyball match between the Springfield Police and Fire Departments. The departments will be coached by members of the MSU beach volleyball team.

Prior to the Guns Serving Hoses event, the Missouri State beach volleyball team will scrimmage at 11 a.m.

Everyone is welcome to come out and support the Missouri State beach volleyball team, Springfield Police Department and Springfield Fire Department. Admission is free to all fans and the Missouri State Mascot Boomer will be in appearance.
