SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State Beach Volleyball team will be in action for the first time this season on Friday, Oct. 28, for an intrasquad event.
"We're looking forward to the event on Friday, Oct. 28, before homecoming," said head beach volleyball coach Ashley Emery. "We're hoping to catch some of the families in town so the girls can celebrate homecoming with their families, as well as us opening matches with our intrasquad scrimmage."
The event will be part of the campus-wide Homecoming celebration and will be a first look at the 2022-23 squad playing in tournament format.
"We're finally being able to put together pairs, so we're excited to see how those girls play with each other and get real competition going," finished Emery.
The tournament will run from 5-7 p.m. and will be played at the Betty and Bobby Allison Sand Volleyball Courts on Missouri State's campus and is open to the public with free admission.
