July 06, 2021

SPRINGFIELD – Anna Miller of the Missouri State women's swimming and diving team was named an honorable mention Scholar All-American by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the organization announced Tuesday.

Miller holds a 3.74 GPA in Business and is one of the most successful swimmers in program history, holding school records in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly. Her times in the 50 (22.29) and 100 (48.66) freestyles would have qualified for this year's NCAA Division I Championships.

During the 2021 MVC Championships, Miller was named Athlete of the Year after winning the 100 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 50 freestyles, all in record fashion. The St. Louis native was also a part of four winning relay teams (400 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 200 medley, 400 medley).

CSCAA Scholar All-America selections must hold a 3.50 GPA or higher and achieved a "B" qualifying time or better.
