SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State's annual Sneaker Soiree to benefit intercollegiate athletics is going virtual this year with the online auction and fan engagement event running April 18-24.
 
Sponsored by Old Missouri Bank, this year's event features a wide variety of amazing items for fans to bid on. Participants may register and begin perusing items from the comfort of their home by going to https://events.readysetauction.com/missouristate/virtualsneakersoiree/signup/bidder. There is no charge to participate.
 
On Saturday, April 24, the auction will conclude with a video program, starting at 5 p.m. on the auction site.
 
Before bidding begins, fans may participate in a virtual photo shoe contest to show off their cool sneakers. Through April 16, fans may submit a full-body photo and a close-up of their sneakers by submitting a photo to bearsfund@missouristate.edu. Three lucky winners will be selected from qualified entries received by the deadline.
