ATLANTA – Missouri State assistant women's basketball coach
Tori Jankoska was named an honoree of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's Thirty Under 30 presented by Morgan Stanley Global Sports & Entertainment for the 2020-21 season.
The WBCA Thirty Under 30 program was created to recognize 30 up-and-coming women's basketball coaches age 30 and under at all levels of the game. Each honoree has exemplified their involvement in community service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner, and attitude and professional association involvement.
Jankoska joined MSU head coach
Amaka Agugua-Hamilton's staff in June 2019 and has helped the Lady Bears to a pair of Missouri Valley Conference regular season titles and 47-6 record during her first two years.
In 2019-20, the Lady Bears set a school record for regular season victories with 26 and ended the season ranked eighth in the NCAA RPI, the highest ever finish for an MVC school.
This season, Missouri State has been ranked every week in the Coaches Poll and 13 times by the AP, and boasts a 21-2 record as it enters the NCAA Tournament as a No. 5 seed, tying for the highest seed in program history.
