"Any time you can get a win, especially in conference, it's a great feeling," said head Coach Steven McRoberts. "I think we played real consistently, holding them to 16, 17 and 18 points in the sets we won. We had multiple people who chipped in with the effort today to get the win."
Missouri State jumped out to leads of 8-1 and 13-4 in the first set and watched SIU close to 14-12 before getting kills from four different players in a 5-0 run on the way to .278 hitting in the set.
