SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State head women's basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton has announced the commitments of Jade Masogayo, Sania Copeland, Jaiden Bryant, Cady Pauley and Khloe Moad to the Lady Bear program. All four will enter Missouri State as freshmen next fall.

Sania Copeland G 5-9 Fr. Olathe, Kan. Olathe North HS
A three-year starter at Olathe North High School, Copeland was rated in the top 5 of all Kansas 2022 point guards in March 2021, according to Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. In 2020, Copeland placed in the top 8 of 75 athletes in Steph Curry's Underrated Tour. Copeland was a member of the Central Girls that became the first-ever Jr. NBA World Champions. Copeland's squad emerged victorious against Europe, with Copeland leading all scorers with 20 points. She also received the first-ever Jr. NBA MVP award, which was presented to her by Dwyane Wade. As a sophomore, Copeland was in the top 10 in scoring, assists and steals on her way to first-team all-Sunflower League honors.

Coach Mox on Copeland:
"Sania is an athletic combo guard who can facilitate and score! She can stretch the defense with her three-ball, but she can also get in the paint and create! She has a high basketball IQ and pays attention to detail on the defensive end. She plays angles really well on and off the ball. I love her fun spirit and sweet soul. She, too, is a high-character kid who wants to be a part of something special. I'm ecstatic about her addition to our Lady Bear family!"

Jaiden Bryant G 5-9 Fr. St. Louis, Mo. Incarnate Word Academy
A three-year starter and two-time state champion for Incarnate Word Academy, Bryant helped lead the Knights to a 29-0 record and Class 6 state title in her junior season and earned second-team all-conference honors. As a sophomore, she averaged 8.7 ppg and 3.5 rpg while scoring 271 points on the season. Bryant also garnered multiple second-team tournament honors and was named the RFO BBALL Classic MVP during her sophomore campaign.

Coach Mox on Bryant:
"Jaiden is a high character, grateful, and hard-working kid. She is an extremely versatile player as she can shoot the ball and put it on floor! What sets her apart is her ability to rebound from the guard spot and her defense! She is very active and aggressive on that side of the ball! I'm excited about what she brings to our Lady Bear family on and off the court!"

Cady Pauley G 5-10 Fr. Milan, Mo. Milan High
Pauley is a three-sport athlete who played basketball, softball and competed in track and field at Milan (Mo.) High School. Pauley has increased her production every year, averaging career-highs with 31.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg and dishing out 4 apg as a junior. Pauley scored her 1,000th point as a sophomore and eclipsed the 2,000-point mark in her junior season. Last year, Pauley received Class 3 All-State honors and was named Class 3 Player of the Year as she helped lead the Wildcats to district and sectional championships. As a freshman, Pauley set state records for the most points in a game by a freshman with 57 points. Pauley has earned multiple first-team honors in softball and won a state title in shot put last year as a track athlete.

Coach Mox on Pauley:
"Cady is a rare talent! She can shoot the ball off the catch or the dribble. She can shoot toed-up to the three-point line or from half court, but what people don't know is that she can also get to the paint and facilitate or finish through contact! She is a flat out scorer!! All of that coupled with a very humble spirit, a thankful heart, and great character speaks for itself! I'm thrilled to have her, and she is a tremendous addition to our family on and off the court!"

Khloe Moad F 6-2 Fr.Ash Grove, Mo. Ash Grove High
A 6-2 forward out of Ash Grove (Mo.) High School, Moad was named Class 3 District 11 Player of the Year as a junior after averaging 16.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.1 bpg and 2.2 spg. Moad has earned all-district and first-team all-SWC honors on two occasions, and she surpassed 1,000 career points during her junior campaign. She has been named to multiple all-tournament teams and helped lead the Pirates to a district championship last season. Moad entered her senior season with 1,109 points, 551 rebounds and 347 blocks and deflections in her career.

Coach Mox on Moad:
"Khloe is a versatile post player who can really shoot the ball and stretch the defense! She is also a threat in the low post. She is a native to the area and understands what Lady Bear basketball is all about, and she embodies that. Khloe is another high-character and grateful kid who is about the work! She grinds, and she wants to be a part of our winning tradition! You will rarely find her without a smile on her face! We are super excited about what she brings to our family on and off the court!"

Coach Mox on Masogayo:
"Jade is a phenomenal athlete, but an even better person. She is an extremely grateful, hard-working, positive kid! She has a very genuine heart and is a giver by nature. On the court, she is a beast! She is a long, athletic post who can handle the ball, score from the high and low post, finish through contact and rebound! Her motor is off the charts, so she can run for days! I can't wait to see her impact on our Lady Bear Family!"
