CLEVELAND, Ohio – After posting four top-10 times at the Shamrock Invitational, two of which ranked among the top half of the heat,
Pawel Krawczyk was named Mid-American Conference swimmer of the week, as announced by the league Wednesday.
The Warsaw, Poland native showcased impressive efforts at the Shamrock Invitational, earning multiple top-five times during the two-day meet. He produced stellar efforts in the long-distance events, turning in a third-place time in the 1650 free (15:21.45) and fourth-place in the 500 free (4:23.06). Both placements marked the Bears' highest individual finishes of the invite. Krawczyk also clocked fifth in the 200 free (1:37.78) and seventh in the 200 fly (1:48.73) against high-level competition.
