SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State University will recognize 238 student-athletes here Wednesday (Jan. 15) as honorees on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall 2019 semester.
The distinguished scholars all posted a 3.0 grade-point average or better during the fall term and represent all 17 intercollegiate programs. Director of Athletics
Kyle Moats, along with Missouri State President Clif Smart and Faculty Athletics Representative Dr. Jim Hutter, will formally acknowledge the honor roll recipients during halftime ceremonies of the Bears basketball game against Bradley at JQH Arena on Wednesday evening.
The fall semester's AD Honor Roll accounts for 60 percent of all Bear participants. A total of 44 student-athletes (11 percent) posted a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester, while 154 (39 percent) made the Missouri State Dean's List with a 3.50 grade-point average or higher.
