SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State men's soccer (6-0-0) cracks the top-25 for the second-straight year as the Bears rank 19th in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division-I poll that was announced on Tuesday.

The Bears opened the season with six straight wins for the first time since the 1995 MSU team went 7-0. The six-game streak is Missouri State's longest winning stretch since 2017.

MSU is one of nine Division I teams to boast a perfect record this season. The Bears have outscored their opponents 12-3 on the year, posting three straight shutouts to open the season for the first time in program history.Â
The Bears also came in at No. 24 in this week's Top Drawer Men's Soccer poll and second in the United Soccer Coaches West Region rankings behind Saint Mary's (CA). MSU earned a top-25 ranking in 2018 after starting the season 7-0-3.

Missouri State travels to Macomb, Ill. to take on Western Illinois in a non-conference match on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 4:00 p.m.
