Junior Crimson Callahan has been named Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after posting a top-five finish earlier this week at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate in Hattiesburg, Miss. Playing in his first tournament for Missouri State after transferring from Western Kentucky, the lefthander from Chesterfield, Mo., carded rounds of 72-66-68 for a 206 total and tie for fifth at the Hattiesburg Country Club. Callahan led the Bears' rally from 13th after the first round to a sixth-place finish in the 16-team field.
