COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Missouri State men's and women's swimming programs each garnered a spot on the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America teams for the Spring 2019 semester, as announced by the organization Tuesday.
The women boosted a 3.56 GPA, helping the CSCAA set a semester-record median GPA. On the men's side, the Bears posted a 3.09 mark, being one of over 100 men's teams recognized across the country. MSU was one of 480 nationwide institutions to be highlighted on the list.
"Coach Collins has produced a model that the University can be proud of in every way - academically, athletically and in the community," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart.
The CSCAA was founded in 1922 and was the first organization of college coaches oriented around advancing the sport at the college level, providing leadership amongst institutions throughout the U.S.
