SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State women's tennis head coach
Mallory Weber announced the addition of two signees Friday in the opening days of the 2019-20 NLI signing period.

Tiffani Nash, Shreveport, La., Loyola College Preparatory High
Tiffani achieved a career-high national ranking of 98 (Top 100) according to Tennis Recruiting and was ranked as high as No. 50 in the USTA Southern region, highlighted by her 2019 Southern Girls' 18s Championship run where she made the Round of 32 in singles and also won three rounds in the back draw making it to the Quarterfinal qualifier. She won 3 Sportsmanship awards during the 2019 Southern Girls' 18s Championship and was selected to represent Louisiana for four consecutive years in the Southern Cup. Also named 2017 Most Value Player for Louisiana during the Southern Cup competition. Tiffani also won the Louisiana Junior State Qualifying Tournament 16s Singles Division in 2018 and is a two time LHSAA Division 3A State Singles championship runner up and helped her team win the State Championship in 2017. Tiffani was named Best of Prep/Sports Award for Player of the Year Female Tennis for 2017, 2018, and 2019.Â
Mary Houston, Fayetteville, Ark., Fayetteville High
A two-time state champion for Fayetteville High, Houston earned numerous accolades throughout her high school career including three all-state distinctions, a 2018 overall state champ title, and 2018 Arkansas Female Athlete of the Year selection by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Houston was a three-star recruit and ranked No. 277 in the 2020 senior class.
