United Soccer Coaches Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After claiming the program's first perfect regular season on Saturday, Missouri State men's soccer (16-0, 10 MVC) moves back into the No. 9 spot as the Bears spend their fourth-straight week inside the top-10 in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division-I poll announced on Tuesday.
 
The Bears, who fell back one spot to No. 10 in last week's poll, have spent eight-straight weeks in the national poll after debuting at No. 19 on Sept. 24.  MSU jumped inside the top-10 on Oct. 22 for the first time since the 2005 team peaked at No. 9, 
 
MSU cracked the top-25 rankings for the second straight year, following the 2018 team who earned a spot at No. 25 on Oct. 9, 2018.  The 2019 squad is the fourth Missouri State team in program history to receive a top-10 ranking in the national poll, joining the 1999, 2000, and 2005 teams.  MSU's highest ranking came in the 2000 season with a No. 3 spot in the Sept. 11 poll.
 
The Bears continue to sit atop the NCAA D-I West Region rankings, joining fellow Valley teams, Loyola (5) and Bradley (9) in the regional rankings.  MSU checks in at No. 11 in the latest NCAA RPI rankings after moving inside the top-10 on Oct. 21.  The Bears also hold the No. 12 and No. 11 spots in the latest TopDrawerSoccer.com and College Soccer News polls, respectively.
 
As the Valley's regular-season champions, top-seed Missouri State will face the winner of No. 4 Drake and No. 5 Valparaiso in the semifinal round of the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championship on Friday, Nov. 15 at 1:00 p.m. in Chicago.
