October 28, 2019 | Women's Basketball
SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State started fast and never looked back in Monday's exhibition women's basketball debut against Lincoln at JQH Arena, scoring the first 21 points of the game and rolling to a 109-32 victory.
In the first game under head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton, Missouri State scored three seconds after the opening tip and used an up-tempo offense to lead 21-0 less than five minutes into the contest.
The Lady Bears dominated the first and third quarters by a combined total of 72-14, while the team's 77-point margin of victory, 109 total points, 68.7 percent field goal percentage, and 46 field goal makes would have all ranked first or second in school history for a regular season game.

Missouri State forced 20 first-half turnovers and finished with 40 points off 30 Lincoln miscues, with Hipp swiping a team-high four steals while adding five assists and eight rebounds.
The Lady Bears led 36-5 after 10 minutes, 46-7 on freshman Trinity Knapp's 3-pointer with 7:14 left in the second quarter, 52-15 at halftime, and 79-19 on one of Ruffridge's three 3-pointers midway through the third period.
Sophomore guard Mya Bhinhar dished out a team-high eight assists, and the Lady Bears finished with 25 helpers on the night and owned a 41-21 rebounding margin after being tied in that category at the break.
MSU hit 12 3-pointers in 22 attempts, and the defense limited the Blue Tigers to 23.9 shooting overall and 1-for-11 from beyond the arc.
