SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State men's basketball head coach Dana Ford will once again be hosting monthly luncheons at Big Whiskey's (1440 W Republic Rd, Springfield) throughout the upcoming season, starting Monday, October 14.
 
The luncheons start at 11:30 a.m., and are open to the public. Please note the location change from last season.
 
Ford will host luncheons at Big Whiskey's on:

•     Monday, October 14
•     Monday, November 11
•     Monday, December 9
•     Monday, January 13
•     Monday, February 10

 
Big Whiskeys will have the following lunch specials available for just $9.99 during the luncheons, including a choice of tea, lemonade, water or soft drink:

• All-American burger and chips
• Buffalo chicken wrapper with chips
• Pulled pork sandwich with chips
• Classic fish and  with chips
• Southwest chicken salad (full size)

Ford returns a pair of All-Missouri Valley Conference starters and six lettermen in all from a 16-16 club of a year ago. The Bears also welcome six newcomers to the fold with three additional transfers gaining eligibility after sitting out last season to satisfy NCAA requirements.
