CLEVELAND, Ohio –  Senior Artur Osvath's efforts in the Missouri State swimming and diving men's team duals against crosstown rival Drury and nationally-ranked Missouri earned him Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week accolades, as announced by the league Wednesday.
 
Osvath had a standout weekend against rivals Drury and Missouri, pulling in four first-place individual finishes and was an intricate part of a 200 medley team victory. At Drury he won the 200 IM (1:49.25), 100 butterfly (47.81), and swam a leg in the Bears' first-place 200 medley (1:29.41) to help Missouri State take a dominant 169-65 victory. Osvath won another two events against nationally-ranked Missouri, in the 100 and 200 breaststroke with times of 54.70 and 1:58.16. His team also placed third in the 200 medley at 1:29.13. 
 
The selection is Osvath's 11^th of his career, with it being his second this season.
 
Missouri State's swimming and diving men's team will compete in its last regular season meet on Friday, Jan. 25 – Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Shamrock Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
