SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State swimming and diving team will honor 11 seniors in its Senior Day meet against Lindenwood on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Hammons Student Center. The dual will serve as the Bears' final home event of the season.

Action at Hammons Student Center is slated to start with diving at 11:50 a.m. Swimming events commence at 1 p.m., while the team's senior ceremony will take place in between the 500 free and 100 breaststroke.

Bear Bites:

• Blair Bish, Bryce Blattner, Kevin Douglas, Minki Kang, Lucas Paloschi, Artur Osvath, and Phillip Willett will be honored on the men's team while Kaylee Larson, Brianna McCullough, Josie Pearson, and Loretta Stelnicki will be recognized on the women's side.
• The Bears are 11-0 against Lindenwood heading in Saturday's meet. In their last dual, Missouri State swept with the men winning 166-70 and the women taking the 170-80 decision.
• Missouri State resumes its spring schedule after sweeping Evansville and Southern Illinois to cap 2018.
• Libby Howell was selected as Missouri Valley Conference Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 4 after collecting five individual wins and contributed to a team victory against Evansville and Southern Illinois.
