ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Josh Dolling unleashed an historic week for the Missouri State men's soccer team, earning Missouri Valley Conference Offensive Player of the week honors, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
Dolling scored all three goals in the Bears 3-2 double overtime thriller of a victory over Santa Clara (Sept. 10). Dolling netted the first hat trick match for a Missouri State men's soccer player since Sept. 9, 2005. His hat trick was capped off by the game winner in the 107-minuite of the match.
His second goal of the night made Sports Center's Top-10, checking in at No. 3.
Dolling added his fourth goal of the week and seventh of the season against UMKC on Saturday (Sept. 15). He launched it from 20 yards out off a pass from teammate
Stuart Wilkin. Dolling ended the week with four goals and one assist in two matches.
The Liverpool, United Kingdom native leads the Missouri Valley Conference in points (15), goals (7), and game winning goals (3). Dolling also ranks in the top-10 nationally in game winning goals (5
th), goals per game (7
th), penalty kicks (1
st), points per game (6
th), shots on goal per game (7

th).
The Bears will put their undefeated streak on the line, entering conference play against Valparaiso at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium.
