TULSA, Okla. -- The Missouri State women's golf team shot 315-311--626 on Monday (Apr. 9) at the Dale McNamara Invitational and is in 13th place in a loaded field of 13 teams at the Tulsa Country Club.

Verena Gimmy and junior
Rachel Johnson led the way for MSU as each tallied 154 totals and are tied for 35th place. Gimmy shot 80-74, while Johnson had 76-78 in two trips around the par 70, 6115-yard layout. Junior
Ashley Childers is tied for 60th after posting 81-80--161, and sophomore
Sophia Sadaro is tied for 64th with 78-84--162. Freshman
Niamh Lendrum carded 87-79--166 and is tied for 68th.
Seventeenth-ranked Oklahoma State holds the lead in the team race with 18 holes to play after the Cowgirls shot 287-285--572, six ahead of Texas A&M with 578. Mississippi State is third with 586, followed by Texas State (590), Fresno State (592), Texas Tech (594), Tulsa (606), Cincinnati (610), Wichita State (611), South Florida (617), Florida Gulf Coast (623), Oral Roberts (624) and the Bears.
Tuesday's final round is slated for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
