CARBONDALE, Ill. – Missouri State's softball game scheduled for Monday afternoon against Southern Illinois has been canceled due to wet field conditions and heavy mist in the Carbondale area.

The game will not be rescheduled.

The Bears (29-16, 14-5 MVC) remain in second place in the Missouri Valley Conference and boast a 9-2 record in the month of April.

Missouri State returns to Springfield for its final home series of the campaign, Saturday and Sunday vs. Indiana State at Killian Stadium. Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled to start at Noon.
