Stine Pettersen has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week after posting a top-20 finish last weekend in Tucson, Ariz. The senior from Moss, Norway, tied for 19th in a strong field that included 10 teams ranked in the top 100 at the Mountain View Collegiate. She shot 73-76-74--223, seven over par, at the par 72, 6151-yard Mountain View Country Club to nab the sixth weekly conference honor of her career.
It was the best 54-hole score of the season for Pettersen, who holds nearly every individual mark in the MSU record book and entered the spring as the school's leader in career scoring average. She currently ranks second in the MVC with a 75.44 mark.
