Women’s Tennis Falls to Creighton, 7-0

OMAHA, Neb. – The Missouri State women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Creighton on Saturday at Hanscom Tennis Courts.
Missouri State, 2-1 on the season, found themselves down 1-0 after Creighton (3-2) took the doubles point.
Junior Phoebe Boeschen captured the second set of her No. 3 singles match, but was unable to push past her Bluejay opponent, Darby Rosette, and fell 6-4, 4-6, 10-5.
At the No. 6 singles match, sophomore Alexia Meyer held a first set advantage over her Creighton opponent Celine Massereau, but was edged in the second and tie-breaker sets, falling 6-7 (4), 7-5, 11-9.
MSU returns home to Cooper Tennis Courts this weekend, hosting Southeastern Missouri State on Friday, Feb. 9 with first serve set for 7 p.m. Missouri State will also host on Northeastern State on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 12 p.m.
