St. LOUIS -- Missouri State continued its recent run of MVC Freshman of the Week honors Monday with Amelia Flynn winning the award for the second time this season. An MSU player has been selected as the league's top freshman for three consecutive weeks and four of the last five.

The outside hitter from Lake St. Louis, Mo., added 15 digs and two aces against UE.Â
In Friday's victory at Indiana State, Flynn equaled a career high with 17 digs and had 13 kills for the double-double.
Missouri State (10-9, 3-3 MVC) returns home for two matches at Hammons Student Center this weekend, hosting Drake at 7 p.m. Friday and UNI at 7 p.m. Saturday.
