SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's tennis team returns to Conway, Ark., to take on Central Arkansas and Murray State at the UCA Fall Classic on Friday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 30.
In a round-robin like tournament, Friday's action will have the Bears playing two singles matches and one doubles match beginning at 11 a.m. at the UCA Tennis Courts. Competition will resume on Saturday at 8 a.m., with two doubles matches and one singles match.
Last week at the UCA Fall Invitational, the Bears picked up wins in each of the top five singles positions, including a Flight 2 quarterfinal singles victory by junior
Phoebe Boeschen. The Columbia, Mo., native also teamed up with senior
Anelisse Torrico Moreno at No. 1 doubles, going 2-1 in the tournament.
Newcomer
Ellie Burger, with sophomore
Alye Darter, also went 2-1 at No. 2 doubles in last weekend's action.
