SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's tennis team opens the 2017-18 season in Conway, Ark., this weekend, where the Bears will compete in the UCA Invitational beginning Friday, September 22 at 12:30 p.m.
A total of seven Bears will be in action on the UCA Tennis Courts on Friday, beginning at 12:30 p.m. with two rounds of doubles matches, followed by two rounds of singles. Play will resume on Saturday, September 23 with singles at 9 a.m. while doubles will start at 1:30 p.m.
Five teams are set to compete in the tournament, including the Bears, Southeast Missouri State, Arkansas State, Northeastern State and host Central Arkansas.

Ellie Burger for a total of eight players on the Bears squad. MSU's fall schedule includes two trips to Conway, Ark., before competing in the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships on Oct. 7-9 in Normal, Ill.
