SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State head softball coach Holly Hesse and her staff will be conducting open walk-on tryouts for the 2018 season on Thursday, Aug. 24. Tryouts are open only to current Missouri State University students and will be held from 3-4 p.m. at Killian Softball Stadium (2141 E. Pythian).
 
Interested participants should register by contacting associate head coach Sue Frederick at (417) 836-8385 or via email at (suefrederick@missouristate.edu). Potential walk-ons should also plan to bring their own equipment, cleats and water bottle to the tryout.
