SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State University BearsFund in preparing for its annual Auction Benefiting Athletics on August 4 with the sale of raffle tickets.

The grand prize for this year's raffle is $2,500 with two additional $500 second-prize winners. The auction is being sponsored by Mid-Missouri Bank.

Tickets are $15 apiece, three tickets for $25 or eight tickets for $50.

The drawing for the raffle will take place during the live auction part of the Auction – Friday, Aug. 4 at the Springfield Expo Center. Winners need not be present to accept the prizes.

Raffle tickets are available through the Missouri State BearsFund office in the Meyer Alumni Center or by calling (417) 836-4143. All current BearsFund members will also receive raffle tickets in the mail.
