Missouri State's Verena Gimmy has picked up her second Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week honor of the season after winning her second tournament Tuesday (Oct. 31) at the Little Rock Classic in Hot Springs Village, Ark.. She shot 75-74-71--220 in three trips around the Diamante Country Club layout to lead the Bears to the team victory and add to her medalist honor back in September at Oral Roberts.
A senior from Munich, Germany, Gimmy leads the Valley with a 74.13 scoring average following the fall season with a pair of wins and and another top-10 finish. She has three collegiate wins and three all-MVC awards to her credit as she enters the final semester of her career in the spring.
