Missouri State hits the road for first time in more than a month this weekend when it travels to Evansville and Southern Illinois for a pair of early-season Missouri Valley Conference showdowns.
The Lady Bears (5-9, 1-2 MVC) play away from JQH Arena for the first time in 37 days on Friday with a 7 p.m. game at Evansville (7-8, 2-2), and continue the road trip with a 2 p.m. contest on Sunday at Southern Illinois (7-8, 1-3).
Both games can be seen on KOZL in Springfield and statewide on MSU TV Network affiliates, with Lady Bears Courtside! airing 30 minutes prior to tipoff.
The Valley road has been kind to the Lady Bears over the last one-and-a-half seasons, as MSU owns an 11-2 record in its last 13 MVC road games, and a 16-7 overall mark in opposing arenas since a win at SIU on Feb. 20, 2015. MSU is also 12-2 in its last 14 games in the state of Illinois.
