ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Junior forward Andrea Soler Codina scored her first goal of the season in Missouri State's (0-4) 4-1 loss to the Saint Louis Billikens (1-4) this afternoon.

Missouri State got on the board in the 18^th minute after Soler Codina scored the Bears' lone goal from the right side off a feed from junior Bianca Mills.

The Billikens answered Missouri State with a goal from Sophia Cheever off a corner play in the 26^th minute. After the start of the second half Saint Louis found the back of the cage again, this time with a goal coming from Allison Pinnock off a corner play in the 37^th minute.

Saint Louis scored two more goals late in the second half to solidify their lead. Molly Feid scored in the 55^th minute and Maya Bentley added to the Billikens score in the 57^thminute off a corner play to take a 4-1 lead over the Bears.

Missouri State fired six of its 14 shots in the second half, but was unable to overcome the 4-1 deficit.

Notable Performances

Andrea Soler Codina – The junior forward scored her first goal of the season, finding the back of the cage on a shot from the right side. Soler Codina has two points this season.
