SPRINGFIELD -- The Missouri State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting the first annual SAAC Trivia Night on Thursday, April 21.

The night will be a fundraiser for SAAC and the American Cancer Society in honor of Aubree Schmid. Aubree was a Missouri State student who lost her battle with cancer on March 25.

Doors open at 6 p.m. on the main court at Hammons Student Center with the trivia event starting at 6:30 p.m. The top three teams have the opportunity to win cash prizes, while there will also be an ongoing raffle through the night, for $1 per ticket. Prizes include gift cards for various Springfield attractions, MSU event tickets, sport-specific lessons with student-athletes, and signed memorabilia.

The entry fee is $40 for up to eight team members. Teams may have less than eight members if they choose. Free Pizza will also be provided throughout the event for participating teams.

The deadline to enter has been extended to Monday, April 18 at 5 p.m. If you wish to participate please contact Michelle Noland (mnoland@missouristate.edu ) with your team registration form.
