SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Missouri State softball coaching staff has announced the addition of two youth developmental clinics to its slate of January dates. The offensive and defensive fundamentals clinics will be held at the Bill Rowe Training Facility on Tuesday, January 12 and Wednesday, January 13, respectively.
Both clinics are for youth third through seventh grades and will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. both evenings. The offensive fundamentals involve hitting, bunting, base running and sliding drills. The defensive fundamentals include throwing, defensive drills, position play, pitching and catching. MSU graduate assistant coach and former University of Alabama third baseman Courtney Conley will be the lead instructor for this year's clinics.
