SPRINGFIELD - Missouri State (4-2-2) has played two straight opponents that were either ranked or receiving votes in the latest poll. On Tuesday night, that number may extend to three in a row when Tulsa (3-4-1) comes onto the MSU campus.

Tulsa, who were receiving votes in last Tuesday's edition of the NSCAA poll, are entering this week's match with consecutive losses over the week. The Hurricane dropped road matches at Akron and at SMU, a mutual opponent that the Bears defeated in Dallas earlier this season.

While Missouri State is in the midst of their longest home-stretch of the season, Tuesday's game is quite the opposite for Tulsa. The Hurricane will be capping a season-long three game swing away from Hurricane Stadium.

The Bears have enjoyed the comforts of the home crowd at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium. In three regular season games, MSU has not lost and has posted two shutouts on the new turf. Missouri State will benefit from the home crowd on Tuesday in the 38th all-time meeting between the two teams, the most of any MSU opponent.

Missouri State also received notice on Monday morning that redshirt freshman defender Robbie Oslica has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week in soccer Monday for the first time in his career. Oslica scored the lone goal and played the full 90 in Saturday's shutout victory over previously unbeaten Air Force.

Tuesday's 7 p.m. contest is themed as "Toga Night" and will feature a pregame tailgate for all of Fraternity and Sorority Life hosted by the men's basketball program. The game will be streamed live courtesy of Bears All-Access and can be located through the link above.
