The Missouri State Lady Bears (13-15, 8-9 MVC) conclude their regular season schedule Sunday when they visit Missouri Valley Conference leader Wichita State (22-6, 13-4) for a 2 p.m. game that will air on the Missouri State TV Network, including the Ozarks CW in Springfield.
Much remains to be decided with one weekend of MVC play remaining, as the Lady Bears currently sit in the seventh spot just one half game behind Drake, Evansville and Illinois State, who are all 8-8.
The Lady Bears can still earn the fifth, sixth or seventh seed at next week's MVC Tournament at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo., with a win likely needed to avoid the No. 7 spot.
Should Missouri State finish seventh, the Lady Bears would play at 8:05 p.m. Thursday at the MVC Tournament, while a higher finish would mean a Friday opener.
