Oct. 6, 2014 Bears Season Ticket Info | Lady Bears Season Ticket Info | Tickets for Homecoming Scrimmage
SPRINGFIELD -- Non-conference single-game tickets for the upcoming basketball season at Missouri State University will go on sale Monday, Oct. 13, the University announced today. On that day, Bears' and Lady Bears' tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m., at the Athletics Box Office at JQH Arena, by phone at (417) 836-7678 or on-line at MissouriStateBears.com/tickets.
Conference single-game tickets for both teams will be available beginning Dec. 1. Season ticket holders, however, may purchase up to four lower-level tickets for any home game at a reduced price, beginning Oct. 13.
"We hope our season ticket holders take advantage of the option to buy additional single game tickets at a greatly reduced price," said MSU Director of Athletics Kyle Moats. "They can help us expose some of their friends, family and coworkers to MSU Basketball."
Bears Single-Game Tickets
Individual ticket prices for the Bears' 15-game home slate have been reduced in all sections for this season. Additional per-game price breaks have also been put in place for the team's six non-conference games at JQH Arena this winter.
Upper-level Bears' tickets will be available for just $10 all season long. Missouri State students receive free admission to all regular-season and preseason home contests by presenting their BearPass card at the ticket window on game days.
"We've listened to our fans and made some adjustments to our single-game pricing we believe will generate a better atmosphere at The Q," said Moats. "We appreciate the work of our task force of community members who helped us come up with some great ideas for ticketing and game atmosphere, and their work will create a much better experience for our community. Ultimately, single-game pricing has to be affordable but at the same time has to protect the investment of our season ticket holders. With this plan, we feel we've accomplished both."
Bears Game-Day Ticket Promo
In addition, a new game-day ticket promotion will be offered this season for all MSU men's games. Individual lower-level tickets in sections E, J, O and P will be sold on game day for just $15 for non-conference games and $20 for conference games, based on availability. This promotion will only be available to walk-up customers at the JQH Arena Box Office on game day, starting at 10 a.m.
Lady Bears Tickets
Lady Bears' single-game tickets are available for as little as $5 for each of their 15 home dates. There are no changes in single-game women's basketball pricing from last season's Lady Bears ticketing overhaul.
Women's basketball season ticket packages are on sale now and remain the same excellent value as last year, with bleacher season tickets starting at $80, and all other lower-level sections priced at $120. Bears Fund seat assessment charges apply only to season tickets in sections B, C and L as well as the loge and courtside areas.

Season Preview
Fans will have their first opportunity to see both teams in action at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 18 with the Maroon and White Scrimmage event at McDonald Arena as part of Homecoming activities on the Springfield campus. The Bears and Lady Bears will each conduct a 30-minute intrasquad scrimmage and fan-friendly event in the historic facility that served as the basketball home for the University's teams from 1940-1976. The $5 adult admission to the scrimmage will benefit the Missouri State University College of Arts and Letters' Master Class Series. Missouri State students with a valid BearPass card and all children 12 and under will be admitted free.
Both teams will be available after the scrimmage to meet fans, sign autographs and distribute posters and schedule cards. The teams will also be interacting with fans at BearFest Village prior to the MSU football game that afternoon.
The Bears and fourth-year head coach Paul Lusk manufactured one of the best turnarounds in the Division I ranks last season as MSU improved to a 20-13 mark in 2013-14. Missouri State will return four starters and seven lettermen from that team after the Bears tied for fourth in a competitive Missouri Valley Conference race and earned a berth in the 2014 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament last March.
The Lady Bears showed glimpses of a bright future during Kellie Harper's first season in 2013-14, with an 11-4 record in a stretch from Dec. 15 to Feb. 7 that included a victory over Missouri. Among MSU's eight returning letterwinners this season are all-conference guards Kenzie Williams and Tyonna Snow, while four all-state high school performers will join the Lady Bears freshman class for 2014-15.
