Volleyball Hosts Wichita State on Senior Night

The Missouri State volleyball team (21-9, 12-5 Missouri Valley Conference) closes the regular-season Friday at 7 p.m. by hosting first-place Wichita State (25-6, 14-3) at Hammons Student Center. The Bears have won eight consecutive matches to move up to third in the league standings, and look to continue their momentum on Senior Night as the members of this year's senior class will play their final home match.
In addition to Friday's match being Senior Night at Missouri State, the first 400 fans to arrive wearing Bear Wear will receive a free t-shirt, and a live band will be playing throughout the evening.

The Opponent
Wichita State is 25-6 overall and sits atop the MVC standings at 14-3 in league play. The Shockers lead the MVC in hitting percentage at .283 as a team, with three regulars above the .344 mark. As a team, WSU averages 13.75 kills, 15.11 digs, 2.49 blocks and 1.03 aces per set while holding opponents to .157 hitting.
