The Missouri State women's soccer team has announced the cancellation of Sunday's scheduled match at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Field conditions as a result of recent heavy rains and unforeseen irrigation malfunctions at UAPB's new field have caused the game to be called off.

Efforts by UAPB to find an alternate location have been unsuccessful. The match will not be made up.

As a result, Missouri State will begin a 17-game regular season schedule at Arkansas-Little Rock on Friday at 7:00 p.m. The team will play its first three matches on the road before the regular season home opener on Friday, September 2, a 7:00 p.m. matchup against Kansas at Plaster Field.
