    Missouri State Notes and Notables:

    • This will be the Bears' 34th game this season, which ties a school record. The other Missouri State teams to play 34 games are: 1986-87 (28-6), 1990-91 (22-12) and 1999-2000 (23-11).
    • Adam Leonard has 92 three-pointers this season which ranks third on the MSU season list. He is just two shy of tying the MSU season record (94), set by Johnny Murdock (1992-93) and Blake Ahearn (2006-07). Leonard's personal season-high is 104 set during his freshman season at Eastern Kentucky in 2006-07. He also needs 3 attempts to tie Murdock's single-season school record for three-point tries (239).
    • MSU players slated to play their 34th game, which would tie a Missouri State record, are: Kyle Weems, Adam Leonard, Jermaine Mallett, Will Creekmore, Nafis Ricks, Caleb Patterson and Keith Pickens.
    • Missouri State has reached 20 wins for the first time since 2006-07 (22-11) and the 14th time since moving to Division I in 1982-83. The 2006-07 squad was also the last MSU team to win 22 games (22-11).
    • Adam Leonard and Kyle Weems have topped the MSU single-season record for three-pointers by teammates. The pair has combined for 163 treys, surpassing the previous record of 144 set by Blake Ahearn (94) and Tyler Chaney (50) in 2006-07.
    • MSU's 60.4-percent shooting effort against Middle Tennesse on Wednesday was the squad's best since firing at a 63.5-percent clip against Evansville on Jan. 9, 2007.
    • Missouri State has hit at least one three-pointer in 249 consecutive games (since 12/14/02) and has made at least 4 treys in 16 straight.

    • Over the last six games, Kyle Weems has posted three double-doubles and is averaging 16 points and 8.8 rebounds. He has also made 10 straight free throws.
    • MSU has 231 three-pointers this year, the second-best season in school history, trailing only the 2006-07 squad's 243 long-range bombs. The squad is the fifth in MSU history to hit 200 treys in a season.
    • Only 11 Division I teams have won more home games than the Bears (16-2) this season. Just two previous MSU teams have a higher home win total -- the 1986-87 squad (18-1) and the 1977-78 team (16-2).
    • The Bears are trying to move 10 games over the .500 mark for the first time since they were 13-3 after the home win over Bradley on Jan. 9.
